Background
The Granary Campus, located within the iconic Waterford Treasures building in the heart of Waterford’s Cultural Quarter, serves as a vibrant hub for students pursuing Architecture, Architectural Technology, and Building Information Modelling (BIM) courses. This centrally located campus combines a rich historical setting with modern academic opportunities, fostering creativity and innovation in the built environment disciplines.
Student Life and Learning have a member of staff on campus available on alternating Thursdays and Fridays each week to help.
Practical tips
If you wish to bring lunch with you from home there are facilities such as a microwave and kettle located on the ground floor left of then the seating area. If you prefer to go out for lunch there is a Centra on the quay (1minute), walk on the right after exiting the main door.
There is a deli and small seating area in this Centra. There is a Frank and Honest app that is free and can be scanned at the till and every 11th beverage is free.
It is important to know that parking is €2.40 an hour in the quay car parks. Something to factor in if you drive to college and costs involved.
